Your Wedding-After Party-
Let us host your wedding after-party! Because of the 9:00pm outdoor noise ordinance on the island, several wedding venues are forced to end your big day early! Don't fret! The party is just warming up over at Nick's! Email captainnicks@hotmail.com  to customize a party for you! Packages can include; private VIP area with private bar/bartender, catered snacks, beverage plan, and reduced/free cover charge for you and your guests.

The Block Island Music Festival- Now in its ninth year, the BIMF has been bringing the best up and coming original acts from all over the northeast to Captain Nick's the second week of every June.  Running from Tuesday through Sunday, the fest features eight acts per day on two separate stages.  The first four acts of each day take place on the outdoor "Sunshine Stage" while at 9pm, the remaining acts take the Main Stage indoors where the amps get cranked to eleven.  Free admission and free food are two attributes of this grassroots festival that haven't changed since the fest started in 2001.   June 8-13, 2010

The Bartender's Ball- Sponsored by Narragansett Beer, Captain Nick's Bartender's Ball is Block Island's end of summer party and salute to all those summer service industry workers who make visiting the island such a pleasureable experience.  Featuring live entertainment, food, raffles, dancing and miscelaneous hijinks, the Bartender's Ball is a chance for everyone to get together after a long, hard summer and pat each other on the back for a job well done.  You don't have to be a bartender or even a member of the service industry to attend.  All are welcome at this unforgettable event.  Wednesday September 1, 2010

Disco Nite- For almost twenty years Monday nights have served as the now legendary Captain Nick's Disco Nite.  Who says you have to wait for the weekend?  Disco Nite has turned Mondays into the biggest party nights on the island.  While originally featuring only music from the 70's disco era, Disco Nite has expanded its horizons over the years and now features some of today's hottest dance tracks alongside the vintage beats that made the 70's such a groovy time.  Dress to impress and leave your inhibitions at the door.  Monday nights 9pm

Sundays with the Booze Beggars-  Every Sunday afternoon from 6-9pm, the island's own honky-tonk heroes, The Booze Beggars, rock the deck as the sun sets on another perfect summer day.  These family-friendly afternoons are an island tradition where good music, good food and plenty of dancing are all to be had in abundance.  The Booze Beggars feature island musicians; Stevie "Lightnin'", Johnny Wahoo Whitaker, Marc Lordtino, Dominic Nardoochi and Pierre Schlosshbourg.  Playing a mix of beach blanket bingo rock hits from the 60's, punked-up sea chantys and straight up rock n' roll, the Booze Beggars are hands down the island's number one party band.  Sunday afternoons 6pm

The 2nd Floor Piano Bar-    On Tuesday and Wednesday nights Captain Nick's is transformed into a modern day speakeasy where martinis flow and your Captain Nick's proprietor and house pianist, Marc Scortino, slips behind the ivories to entertain your requests.  With an intimate and cozy atmosphere- the 2nd floor piano bar is the island's best kept secret.  Make sure to ask the bartender on the front porch for the secret password so you don't have to grease the doorman!
